Agitating Rinse Tanks are available with the same dimensions less
the centrifugal filter and oil skimmer.
|
|
Rinse-off bays are available which attach to the hot tank.
When the rinse water becomes contaminated with
|
|
caustic it is used to top up the hot tank by simply opening a valve.

Apollo caustic Hot Tanks
The new generation caustic cleaning system with centrifugal filter and optional rinse-off bay
- Heavy duty construction.
- Tank double seam welded and all welds dye penetrant tested.
- Fully insulated to minimise energy consumption.
- Stainless steel lids to eliminate corrosion problems.
- Tanks available for aluminium cleaning and paint and powder coat stripping.
|
Tanks with Centrifugal Filter
- Reduced tank volume. No sludge settlement area required, plus minimised “Dead” area behind the platform reduces tank volume by approx 30%.
- Initial chemical fill thus reduced by 30%.
- Heating energy consumption reduced by 30%.
- Chemical life greatly extended & chemical top up reduced up to 75%.
- No need to pre-clean parts.
- Cleaning times are greatly reduced. 30 to 60 minute cleaning cycles are common.
- Centrifugal filter cleaning time approx 15 minutes ever week on average.
- Waste solids from the centrifugal filter are generally suitable for disposal in the industrial waste bin.
- The angled control panel is mounted in a purpose built steel enclosure on the left front of the tank.
- Electronic timers control agitation cycle time, oil skimmer operation and centrifuge operation.
- Long life miniature plug-in relays are used for improved reliability.
- There are no microswitches to fail, magnetic reedswitches are used for ram position sensing.
- Electric over pneumatic controls are used for ease of troubleshooting.
- Pneumatic lid lift – automatic with platform lift or independent of platform for servicing.
- An optional rinse bay attaches to the tank, reducing spillage. Contaminated rinse water is used to top up the hot tank to replace boil off. This system eliminates chemical contaminated liquid waste.
- In very greasy applications (eg railway bearing degreasing) an optional oil and grease separator system removes very heavy oil and grease loads.
- An installation, operation and maintenance handbook complete with servicing diagrams and electrical circuits are supplied with each machine.
- Electrical component suppliers part numbers included to facilitate local procurement.
AT1600 and larger Tanks – Additional Features
- Surface oil is easily removed by means of the oil skimmer. Oil Skimming to take place when the tank is not agitating.
- Fail safe pneumatics lock the agitating platform and lid in the event of power or air supply failure.
